Rome addressing modes for surface-stabilized ferroelectric liquid-crystal (SSFLC) matrix displays

Better understanding of the addressing mechanisms existing in SSFLC cells, through extensive computer simulation, results in the design of new powerful addressing modes, requiring special material properties and complex waveforms. Very fast addressing at relatively low selection voltages is experimentally obtained.
