Method and system for checking the integrity of the measurements in a navigation system

The method involves calculating raw navigation measurements e.g. pseudo-distance measurements, corresponding to transmitters i.e. valid and invalid satellites (T1-T5, N). Navigation solutions (41, 51) with parameters e.g. position, speed and time, are elaborated using the measurements. Coherence of the calculated measurements corresponding to the satellite (N), with navigation solutions (31, 41), is controlled, where the measurements of the satellite (N) are not used to elaborate the solutions (41, 51). The measurements are used to elaborate the solutions (41, 51) when the coherency is proved. An independent claim is also included for a navigation system comprising a calculating unit.
