PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take countermeasures for securing stability when vessels are damaged.;SOLUTION: A seawater introduction means openable in a remote place is provided in a watertight deck in a lowest layer forming a void space of a bottom of a vessel. Thus, when a side shell etc. of the vessel is broken and seawater enters into the vessel, by opening the seawater introduction means provided in the watertight deck in the lowest layer, the seawater entering into the vessel can be introduced to the void space. Thus, the void space normally serving as large auxiliary buoyancy can be made function as a kind of a ballast tank, and restoring force of the vessel can be recovered.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
