METHOD FOR SECURING DATA AND / OR APPLICATIONS IN CLOUD COMPUTING ARCHITECTURE

The method involves providing security policies to a security module e.g. software module, installed on a user's physical computer station, where the security policies applied to the data and/or applications are managed by virtual servers dedicated to a user. An access key specific to the user and/or dedicated server is provided to the security module for accessing the user's dedicated servers. The dedicated servers of the user are accessed by the security module using the access key. The security policies are applied by the servers to the data and/or applications.
