摘要

Method for the automation of the operation mode of a hybrid solar dryer for plants, through an averaging algorithm which, based on air temperature reading and relative humidity - inside and outside of the drying chamber - and relying on the processing of these data, optimises the use of solar energy to the detriment of another non-renewable energy source. It therefore allows this drying process to be energy-efficient as it reduces drying costs and CO2 emissions, and increases the drying quality of the plant material. The present innovation, thanks to the verified thermal differential between external and internal air, enables to control the opening and closing of registers for air entrance, coming from solar collectors and to activate the dryer's remaining devices, in order to provide, continuously, optimum air temperature and humidity conditions in the drying chamber, regardless of the absence of solar radiation at night or of its diminution, in case of adverse weather conditions.
