The signal generator comprises two oscillators (10,24) and a mixer (21), where one oscillator generates an oscillator signal, and the oscillator is indirectly directed to the mixer. The other oscillator generates another oscillator signal, and the latter oscillator is directed to the mixer. The former oscillator is provided as a numerically controlled oscillator, where the other oscillator is provided as an adjusted oscillator.
