The invention relates to a self-serve beverage dispensing device, provided to allow a user to fill up a cup or glass with a predetermined amount of beverage without the intervention of an operator other than the user, controlling the amount dispensed and/or the payment of the amount dispensed and/or the user to whom the beverage is dispensed, by means of a device the top part (13) of which has a surface area less than 35% of the surface area of the base (11) of the dispensing device; and in which at least one portion of the walls (12) of the casing (10) are inclined in a converging path, an area of the cross-section parallel to the base of the dispensing device being smaller the further away it is from the base, the dispensing device having a self-standing nature accessible from different sides thereof, and where the walls of the casing, with the exception of the serving surfaces, lack horizontal or almost horizontal zones accessible from outside the casing.
