A method and a mobile apparatus for monitoring and analyzing a state of health of a person. A mobile communication apparatus is configured to obtain one or more samples of a person's breath using a breath analyzer installed a mobile communications apparatus. The breath analyzer analyzes the one or more samples of breath and generates data corresponding to a state of health of the person. The mobile communication apparatus transmits a signal to a processor of a vehicle using a wireless communication link, the signal containing processed information based on said generated data and indicative of the state of health of the person.
