PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaluation system capable of evaluating accurately a physiological effect of a compound itself even to not only a vitamin D derivative having 1α-position hydroxy group but also a vitamin D derivative not having 1α-position hydroxy group.;SOLUTION: There is provided a gene-modified non-human animal manifesting a variant type vitamin D receptor, and showing a symptom of type 2 rickets.
