PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient design support device for a tooling and a machining jig.SOLUTION: A design support device 10 for a tooling and a machining jig according to the present invention includes a calculation unit 50 for calculating a first vibration characteristic on the basis of the vibration characteristics of a machining facility, and the material property, shape, and machining conditions of a tooling, and calculating a second vibration characteristic on the basis of the material property, shape, and machining conditions of a workpiece and a fixing jig in order to fix the workpiece to the fixing jig and machine the workpiece with the tooling attached to the machining facility. The calculation unit 50 calculates a machining precision on the basis of the first vibration characteristic and the second vibration characteristic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
