PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the complexity of a dangerous object detector is increased by a mechanism for scanning a receiving antenna.SOLUTION: A dangerous object detector of the present invention comprises a plurality of first receiving antennas, a drive unit, and a first image processing unit. The plurality of first receiving antennas are provided around a slant passage inclined against the vertical direction and arrayed in a first direction, and receives a millimeter wave. The drive unit causes the plurality of first receiving antennas and the plurality of second receiving antennas to be scanned in a direction that intersects the vertical direction.
