PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means which allows the prediction of risk of early recurrence of hepatocellular carcinoma.;SOLUTION: The method according to the present invention includes the steps of: measuring the concentration of GPC3 in a sample of blood of a patient with hepatocellular carcinoma and the concentration of at least one marker selected from AFP and PIVKA-II; and determining that the patient with hepatocellular carcinoma has a higher risk of early recurrence if the concentration of GPC3 is not smaller than a first threshold value and the concentration of the marker is not smaller than a predetermined threshold value for the marker.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
