PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel fumaric acid ester macromonomer, a novel fumaric acid ester macromonomer copolymer, and methods for producing the same.;SOLUTION: A fumaric acid ester macromonomer (A) represented by general formula (1) is produced by radically polymerizing a fumaric acid diester (A1) in the presence of an addition cleavage agent (A2). A fumaric acid ester macromonomer copolymer (F) is produced by copolymerizing the fumaric acid ester macromonomer (A) and a comonomer (B).
