PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of difficulty in making a single execution file usable for a plurality of page sizes, without adding a new function to a memory management mechanism while suppressing fragmentation.;SOLUTION: The apparatus includes link means for linking object files including text sections and data sections to generate an execution file, and arrangement determination means for determining the arrangement of the text segments and the data segments so that the text segments and the data segments are arranged on different pages based on the execution file generated by the link means and a page size indicating the size of a page used by the process for the execution file. The link means generates the execution file in which the data segment is arranged on the lower address side of the text segment.
