PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data link establishment method and system capable of increasing resource utilization efficiency for a mobile communication system accommodating various terminals such as IoT.SOLUTION: A data link establishment method for establishing an uplink and a downlink between a radio access network and a user plane controller by a control plane controller includes a first step of requesting to establish an asymmetric tunnel on the uplink and the downlink to be used by a terminal to the radio access network and the user plane controller in accordance with the service type of a session establishment request when the control plane controller receives the session establishment request from the terminal and a second step of establishing the asymmetric tunnel based on the request of the first step between the radio access network and the user plane controller in the uplink and the downlink to the terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
