PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a specific test for accurate diagnosis of anaplasmosis caused by infection of granulocytic cells with Anaplasma phagocytophilum.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, there are provided a composition comprising one or more purified polypeptides consisting of a polypeptide consisting of a specific sequence; and an isolated polynucleotide encoding purified polypeptide.
