PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ε iron oxide powder of a small particle diameter (secondary particle diameter) and of a sharp particle diameter (secondary particle diameter) distribution with a part of iron sites substituted with a metal element other than iron, and a method of producing the same.;SOLUTION: There are provided ε iron oxide particulate powder with a part of iron sites substituted with a metal element other than iron, constituted of granules of ε iron oxide particles with a part of iron sites substituted with a metal element other than iron, with the volume-based particle size of the ε iron oxide particulate powder measured by micro track particle size distribution measurement satisfying the following: D₅₀≤75 μm and (D₉₀-D₁₀)/D₅₀≤2.0; and a method of producing the same.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2019,JPO&INPIT
