PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tidal current calculation device capable of calculating a proper approximate solution and an overload amount or a load cutoff amount, without requirement of large computer memory capacity or calculation time in a case where voltage analysis for a load prediction value cannot be obtained by tidal current calculation.SOLUTION: A tidal current calculation device 1 comprises: a load change amount direction calculation unit 33 that calculates a load change amount direction from a difference between a load predicted value and a load value at a second time earlier than a first time, when a voltage analysis for the load predicted value at the first time at a load node included in an electric system cannot be obtained by tidal current calculation; a maximum load calculation unit 34 that calculates a maximum load value at which the voltage analysis can be obtained by tidal current calculation by gradually increasing the load amount in accordance with a load change amount direction while using the voltage analysis at the second time as an initial value; and a load shutdown amount calculation unit 35 that calculates a load shutdown amount from the difference between the load prediction value and the maximum load value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
