PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide prophylactic or treating agents for neurological diseases that develop with abnormal aggregation of neurodegenerative disease proteins (e.g., Alzheimer type dementia, FTLD and HD), and methods for screening the prophylactic or treating agents.;SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is an agent for preventing or treating a neurological disease that develops with abnormal aggregation of a neurodegenerative disease protein, comprising at least one compound, as an effective component, selected from the group consisting of a compound having an affinity to a protein that directly interacts with the neurodegenerative disease protein selected from hepta-histidine, angiotensin III, a luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone peptide fragment, hepta-glutamine, kemptide acetate salt and an amino acid sequence having 80% or more identity thereto, and nordihydroguaiaretic acid, sphingosine-1-phosphate and a chemically modified compound thereof.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
