PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To represent a mechanical multistory parking device with rigid floor assumption unestablished as a shear bending element model.;SOLUTION: A modeling method for modeling a mechanical multistory parking device having a pallet story for housing a pallet models a mechanical multistory parking device by representing a pallet story with mass points and rigidity. Concretely, the mass points of the pallet story are represented by using the weight of the pallet, the weight of a vehicle mounted on the pallet and the weight of a pallet support member for supporting the pallet, and the rigidity of the pallet story is represented by using rigidity in the case of giving force to the pallet in a plane.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
