PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel structure watching type pet robot capable of surely and quickly grasping abnormality during absence from home, in a single life or a life of an elderly, and achieving piece of a mind of an owner.;SOLUTION: A watching type pet robot 10 comprises: movement means 44 by which the robot can move in a dwelling; stimulation detection means capable of detecting a specific stimulation from an external part; movement control means 72 for controlling the movement means 44 to move to a preset prescribed position, with a condition in which the specific stimulation is detected by the stimulation detection means; and imaging means 48 for imaging at the prescribed position where the robot is moved by the movement control means 72.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
