PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure of a rotary machine which achieves downsizing, a simplification, and improvement of assemblability of a seal member while securing proper sealability and achieves improvement of the mechanical efficiency of the rotary machine.SOLUTION: A rotary machine 1 includes a case 2 and a shaft member 3 disposed in the case 2. An annular seal formation part 10 radially extending toward the case 2 is provided in the shaft member 3. Further, in the case 2, a seal member 20 is provided so as to be located at the outer side of the seal formation part 10 in an axial direction. The seal member 20 is provided with: an annular support part 22 which faces the seal formation part 10 from the axial outer side; and a main lip 24 which extends from the support part 22 to the seal formation part 10 side and contacts with the seal formation part 10 in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
