PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent-stuck carbon fiber bundle which has high resin impregnation properties and high scratch resistance and thread breakage resistance particularly suitable for a filament wind molding method, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A carbon fiber bundle is immersed into a sizing bath so as to be stuck with a sufficient amount of sizing agent, and thereafter, a gas is sprayed on the carbon fiber bundle to remove a part of the sizing agent stuck to the external layer part of the carbon fiber bundle, thus the sizing agent-stuck carbon fiber bundle having high scratch resistance, thread breakage resistance and resin impregnation properties can be obtained. The sizing agent-stuck carbon fiber bundle is obtained by bonding 0.8-3.0 mass% of a sizing agent to a carbon fiber bundle having a critical tension of 70-90 mN/, where a light emission count number (S) of a sizing agent in an outer layer part of the carbon fiber bundle and a light emission count number I of a sizing agent in an inner layer part of the carbon fiber bundle satisfy expression: 1.2I/S2.0.SELECTED DRAWING: None
