PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for wet snow and a production apparatus for wet snow that enable dry snow to flow out of a flow passage as wet snow having a desired water content efficiently without sticking on an inner surface of the flow passage when the flow passage is utilized to carry the dry snow in an air current.SOLUTION: A production method for wet snow comprises the stages of: carrying dry snow in a carrying air current, flowing at a predetermined speed or faster, in a flow passage toward an outflow opening; and exchanging heat between the carrying air current and dry snow, and hot air in an atmosphere before the dry air reaches the outflow opening by providing an aging space of predetermined length in the carrying direction in the flow passage between the supply part for the hot air and the outflow opening. The speed of the carrying air current is so selected that in the carrying state, neither the dry snow nor wet snow sticks on the inner surface of the flow passage and in the heat exchange stage, a heat exchange time is secured which is long enough to make the dry snow into the wet snow.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
