To provide a wet snow making method and a wet snow making apparatus each of which enables dry snow to efficiently flow out from a flow passage as wet snow having a desired water content without causing adhesion of the snow to an inner face of the flow passage when conveying the dry snow by making it ride on an airflow using the flow passage.SOLUTION: The wet snow making method includes: a heat exchange step of exchanging heat between: a conveyance airflow and dry snow; and hot air until reaching a flow-out opening in a flow passage; and a conveyance step of wetting the dry snow to the wet snow by melting the dry snow while conveying the dry snow by making it ride on a conveyance airflow by the heat exchange, blowing out the wet snow from a flow-out opening and supplying the wet snow blown out from the flow-out opening toward a specimen which is arranged at a position downstream of the flow-out opening in a flow-out direction. A speed of the conveyance airflow is selected so that a sufficient heat exchange time for wetting the dry snow to the wet snow can be secured in the heat exchange step while preventing the adhesion of the dry snow or the wet snow to the inner face of the flow passage in the conveyance step.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
