PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity selection assisting system for assisting selection of commodities in order to purchase commodities using e-commerce and to sell the commodities using the e-commerce, and a method of carrying out comprehensive proxy of purchase and sales using the commodity selection assisting system.;SOLUTION: There is provided a commodity selection assisting system 1 including possible purchase number data 11 for a first commodity, sales estimate value data 12 for a second commodity of a second commodity group, and checking means 13 for checking the possible purchase number data 11 and the sales estimate value data 12.
