PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal for maintenance work capable of determining a first language of a maintenance worker without holding any large amount of feature information and capable of changing a display to a language display using the determined first language without requiring a maintenance worker to carry out any operation input.SOLUTION: A camera unit picks up a wearing item of a maintenance worker which carries a piece of identification information for identifying a first language of the maintenance worker. An identification information acquisition circuit part acquires a piece of identification information from the image of the wearing item picked up by the camera unit. The language determination circuit part determines a first language of the maintenance worker based on the identification information acquired by the identification information acquisition circuit. A control circuit part controls to display a piece of maintenance information written in the first language determined by the language determination circuit on a screen of a display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
