PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use of peptide in a surface treatment of medical devices or medical materials used in contact with blood, capable of providing medical devices or medical materials which can achieve high efficiency of endothelialization by using peptide specifically binding to endothelial cells; the peptide suitably used in the surface treatment; a manufacturing method of medical devices or medical materials, which is surface treated by the peptide, used in contact with blood; and a surface treatment agent containing the peptide, for surface treatment of medical devices or medical materials used in contact with blood.SOLUTION: A surface treatment of medical devices or medical materials using peptide containing one of specific 10 kinds of amino acid sequence specifically binding to a surface of endothelial cells.SELECTED DRAWING: None
