PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor slab replacement device and an installation method for the floor slab replacement device which make it possible, in a floor slab replacing work for a road surface such as bridge or expressway, to smoothly and easily install a floor slab replacement device in a work site, and after finishing the work, smoothly and easily placing the floor slab replacement device in a vehicle to remove therefrom, thereby smoothly and easily perform a floor slab replacing work.SOLUTION: A floor slab replacement device has a main leg and an oblique leg from four corner parts of an upper frame and an upper frame toward the horizontal direction to constitute a substantially quadrangular frame body, and includes a floor slab hanging tool attachable to the inside of the upper frame, in which the main leg can be drawn in a horizontal direction from the upper frame, and after being drawn, extend downward to abut on an installation surface where the erection on the installation surface is possible; and the oblique leg rotates about a connection part to the upper frame as a rotation axis, a tip end side of the oblique leg is attached to a tip end side of the main leg to act as a reinforcement of the main leg.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
