PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve estimation of a temperature of a magnet mounted on a rotor, the temperature including output torque of a motor in estimating the temperature.SOLUTION: A rotational acceleration of a motor 10 with a magnet mounted on a rotor is measured and an electric current supplied to the motor 10 is detected. A magnet temperature estimation device 28 estimates a temperature of the magnet mounted on the rotor on the basis of the rotational acceleration of the motor 10 and a d-axis current and a q-axis current obtained by coordinate-converting the detected current.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
