PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide automated feature analysis, comparison, and abnormality detection method for collecting data from a large variety of fields of applications to extract features.SOLUTION: A first characteristic component is obtained by normalizing a physical feature acquired from a physical object by a sensor into a magnitude of from 0 to 1. A second characteristic component is obtained by dividing the first characteristic component by the number of components in the characteristic component. A third characteristic component is further obtained by absolutely normalizing the second characteristic component based on a distribution of a second feature quantity. A physical object is analyzed by clustering a third plurality of normalized components.SELECTED DRAWING: None
