A method of detecting steel sample components by using a multi-pulse laser-induced plasma spectrum analyzer. The present invention employs a multi-pulse laser-induced plasma spectrum analyzer to detect steel sample components, particularly a multi-pulse laser-induced plasma spectrum analyzer including picosecond and nanosecond laser pulse widths. Regarding the method of detecting steel sample components, the laser-induced light source is a laser light source including ultra-short pulses of nanosecond order and picosecond order, and one pulse laser and two pulse lasers, nanosecond laser and picosecond laser.
