PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the possibility of a passenger desiring to utilize a multipurpose space to smoothly get on, and to reduce the stopping time for getting on, and to improve the possibility of ensuring on-time travel.;SOLUTION: An input operation for reserving the use of a multipurpose space 35d included in a passenger room 32f of a railway vehicle 30f prior to its arrival at a railway station 10 is received by an input device 12d installed at the railway station 10. Information relating to reserving the use of the multipurpose space 35d is transmitted to the railway vehicle 30f by a transmitter 13 installed at the railway station 10. The information transmitted from the transmitter 13 is received by a receiver 36 installed in the railway vehicle 30f. The information is reported to the passenger room 32f including the multipurpose space 35d of the railway vehicle 30f prior to the railway vehicle 30f arriving at the railway station 10 by a reporting device 37d installed in the railway vehicle 30f. Thus, the possibility of a passenger desiring to utilize the multipurpose space 35d to smoothly get on the railway vehicle is improved, the stopping time for getting on can be reduced, and on-time travel can be ensured.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
