PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat generation determination device determining a change in a temperature of an arbitrary part in which a carbon based solid fuel is piled up regardless of an environment of a place in which the carbon based solid fuel is piled up.;SOLUTION: A heat generation determination device is equipped in an upper part of a silo 1 with six sensors 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e and 5f detecting different kinds of odors, and an intensity and a quality of the odors are determined based on the output values of the sensors 5a, 5b, 5c, 5d, 5e and 5f by control means 6 to determine a change of coal 2 in the silo 1 in correlation with a temperature of the coal 2 inside of the silo 1.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
