PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a launch tube and canister, a report-suppressing launch tube, and a sabot for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).SOLUTION: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) launch tube comprises a sabot 700 with a tether 740, which is configured to engage a UAV within a launcher volume defined by an inner wall. The sabot with the tether is dimensioned to provide a pressure seal at the inner wall and is tethered to the inner wall. The sabot with the tether is hollow, and has an open end oriented toward the high pressure volume, and the tether that is attached within the hollow part 910 of the sabot and is attached to the inner wall retaining the high pressure volume or attached to an inner base wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
