PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for updating a database based on a spreadsheet.SOLUTION: A method for updating a database based on a spreadsheet includes: a stage for requesting and extracting a dataset of an object table from a database, and for storing the extracted initial dataset; a stage for providing a spreadsheet interface, and for generating a worksheet, and for displaying a structure and record data of the dataset on the worksheet; a stage for updating the record data of a record set on the worksheet in accordance with the input of a user using the spreadsheet interface; a stage for comparing the initial dataset with the updated dataset, and for extracting the updated records, and for defining the dataset structure and record data of the updated records; and a stage for generating a query sentence to the updated data by using the dataset structure of the defined records, and for updating the database by using the generated query sentence.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
