Preoperative plans used during surgery

Devices, systems, and methods are disclosed that generate preoperative planning material, annotate preoperative planning material, and use the generated preoperative planning material during a surgical procedure. Preoperative planning material can be annotated at a location outside the sterile surgical environment. Annotated pre-operative planning material may be displayed on a display device within the sterile surgical environment during the surgical procedure to assist a user, such as a surgeon or other medical professional, in performing the surgical procedure.
