PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method, and a mechanism to propagate announcement and de-announcement of a resource through one or more networks.SOLUTION: A first entity, which is a hosting service capability layer (SCL), receives a request from an issuer to announce a resource. The first entity creates representation of the resource. The representation is referred to as an announced resource. The first entity sends an announce resource request to a second entity (e.g., an announced-to SCL), which is registered in the first entity. The announce resource request is sent over a mid interface. The first entity receives a first response from the second entity over the mid interface notifying that the second entity has created the announced resource.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
