PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a surface of a three-dimensional molded article from increasing surface irregularity and resulting in coarse surface roughness and lower accuracy, when molding by powder laminate molding.SOLUTION: An apparatus includes: a liquid discharge head 52 configured to discharge and apply a molding liquid 10 to a powder container 31; and means for controlling configured to repeat an operation of laying powder 20 in a molding container 22 to form a powder container 31 and an operation of discharging the molding liquid from the liquid discharge head 52 to mold a molding layer 30 so as to mold a three-dimensional molded article with the molding layer 30 laminated.
