PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a selection method of a writing member for a touch panel pen for improving efficiency of product design and quality control of a writing member.SOLUTION: A touch panel pen is fixed to a surface of a writing member for a touch panel pen while the touch panel pen is in contact at an angle of 60 degrees. While applying a normal load of 100 gf to the touch panel pen, dynamic frictional force in a moving direction applied to the touch panel pen when the writing member for a touch panel pen is moved for a length of 40 mm for one way at a speed of 14 mm/sec is measured at an interval of 0.001 sec, and the average of the dynamic frictional force is calculated at each 0.001 sec. Further, residual frictional force in the moving direction applied to the touch panel pen is measured at an interval of 0.001 sec, and the average of the residual frictional force is calculated at each 0.001 sec. A writing member in which the average of dynamic frictional force and the average of residual frictional force satisfy a relationship of "0.45average of residual frictional force/average of dynamic frictional force" is selected as the writing member for a touch panel pen.SELECTED DRAWING: None
