PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of efficiently producing a culture medium provided with fibers aligned in one direction for culture mediums for biological tissues or micro-organisms which exhibit directionality during growth.SOLUTION: A culture medium production method comprises: a deposition step for forming a fiber assembly 20 by discharging raw material liquid of a fiber 21 from a nozzle which, while the fiber 21 is being formed, deposits the fiber 21 onto the circumferential surface of a winding rotary body 10 so as to be wound therearound; and a transfer step of transferring the fiber assembly 20 onto a substrate while rotating the winding rotary body 10. A plurality of belt-like protrusions 10P extending in a direction along the rotational axis of the winding rotary body 10 are provided on the circumferential surface of the winding rotary body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
