PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide silica particles which is excellent in dispersibility to a viscous substance such as a liquid resin and suppresses an increase in viscosity when mixed with the viscous substance under a solventless condition, and to provide a method for producing silica particles.;SOLUTION: Silica particles have a29Si-solid NMR spectrum having peaks of M, T2 and T3, where M indicates a peak having a central value of a chemical shift in a range of 15 to 10 ppm, T2 indicates a peak having a central value of a chemical shift in a range of -55 to -60 ppm and T3 indicates a peak having a central value of a chemical shift in a range of -65 to 70 ppm, and viscosity of a silica particle-containing composition containing the silica particles in a viscous substance which is measured by the following viscous measurement method is 30 times or less of the viscosity of the viscous substance. [Viscosity measurement method] The method includes: (1) mixing the viscous substance and the silica particles on solventless condition in a mass ratio of 1:1 to prepare the silica particle-containing composition; and (2) measuring the viscosity using an E-type viscometer on conditions of 25°C and a number of revolutions of 5 rpm.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
