The present invention provides a glass composition for producing a chemically strengthened alkali aluminosilicate glass and a method for producing a chemically strengthened aluminosilicate glass. The chemically strengthened alkali aluminosilicate glass is suitable for use as a high-strength cover glass for touch displays, a cover glass for solar cells, and a laminated safety glass, and can be manufactured in a shorter time.
