PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a damage estimation method for a concrete-filled steel pipe column and a damage estimation device for a concrete-filled steel pipe columns, which enable a damage present inside a concrete-filled steel pipe column to be estimated without breaking the column.;SOLUTION: The damage estimation method for a concrete-filled steel pipe column is provided for estimating damage condition of a concrete-filled steel pipe column 1 having a steel pipe 2 and a concrete 3 filled inside the steel pipe 2. The damage estimation method comprises: a peeling measurement step of measuring presence or absence of peeling of the steel pipe 2 from the concrete 3 sequentially from the lower end of the concrete-filled steel pipe column 1 upward; and a damage-estimation step of estimating the damage condition of the concrete-filled steel pipe column 1 by estimating the extent of a peeling area where the steel pipe 2 peels from the concrete 3 based on the presence or absence of peeling of the steel pipe 2 from the concrete 3 sequentially measured in the peeling measurement step.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
