PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centralized monitoring system for enabling a Web application side to operate the hardware or OS of a client, and to perform the centralized monitoring of the state of a monitored device to be monitored via a Web server without causing the problem of security.SOLUTION: The centralized monitoring system includes: a Web application 28 configured to operate on a Web server 20 for receiving the operation information data of a monitored device 16, and for controlling the operation state of the monitored device 16; and an abnormality occurrence notification program 32 configured to operate on the Web server 20 for transmitting abnormality occurrence notification to a terminal monitoring device 26. The terminal monitoring device 26 includes a terminal monitoring program 36 configured to operate separately from a browser 30 of the terminal monitoring device 26 on the terminal monitoring device 26, and the terminal monitoring program 36 instructs the terminal monitoring device 26 to perform a predetermined operation when receiving the abnormality occurrence notification from the abnormality occurrence notification program 32.
