CORRECTION METHOD FOR RAILWAY VEHICLE OVERTURNING LIMIT WIND SPEED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction method for a railway vehicle overturning limit wind speed that improves accuracy of an operation regulation method based on a measurement result by an anemometer and an overturning limit wind speed.;SOLUTION: A correction method for a railway vehicle overturning limit wind speed calculated in consideration of air force by the wind to the side face of a railway vehicle includes a step for calculating a correction coefficient of the overturning limit wind speed based on the maximum value of the wind speed at a predetermined position on the side face of the railway vehicle and the maximum value of a spatial average wind speed on the side face of the railway vehicle, and a step for correcting the overturning limit wind speed based on the calculated correction coefficient.
