PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for an underpinning method which can firmly and easily connect steel pipe piles.;SOLUTION: The joint for an underpinning method 20 according to the present invention has a flange portion 22 located at the center portion and projecting outwardly and a fitting cylinder portion 24 which is cylindrical and protrudes on both sides of the flange portion 22 and which can be press-fitted into the steel pipe pile 14 to be connected. Both fitting cylinder portions 24 are formed in a small diameter portion 24a whose front end side is reduced in diameter and the base portion side is formed in a large diameter portion 24b slightly larger in diameter than the inner diameter of the steel pipe pile 14 to be connected, and a through hole 26 or a recess is formed in the large diameter portion 24b.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
