PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer diameter dimension measurement method that can improve measurement accuracy of an outer diameter dimension of a taper member.;SOLUTION: An outer diameter dimension measurement method includes: a first step of, from a circle-shaped edge face of a small diameter of a reference taper member in the reference taper member serving as a measurement reference, housing the reference taper member in a jig capable of housing a position of a prescribed distance to other end side along an extending direction from the circle-shaped edge face of the small diameter; a second step of measuring a reference length in an extending direction of an exposed part of the reference taper member exposed outward from the jig; a third step of housing the taper member serving as a measurement target in the jig; a fourth step of measuring a length in the extending direction of the exposed part of the taper member exposed outward from the jig and serving as the measurement target; and a fifth step of calculating an outer diameter dimension of the taper member serving as the measurement target from a difference between the reference length measured in the second step and the length measured in the fourth step.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
