PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide applications of a composition comprising Alexandrium spp. dinoflagellate in order to inhibit the growth of Sukuchika insects.SOLUTION: This application discloses a composition comprising Alexandrium dinoflagellate or a culture medium thereof in order to inhibit Sukuchika insects, or an inhibiting method of Sukuchika insects using the composition. The composition and method according to the application are safe because of having no harmfulness to useful fish resources except Sukuchika insects. The composition and method according to the application are also effectively used for the treatment, control and/or prevention of Sukuchika disease caused by Sukuchika insects which induce a large loss in marine fish culture and the like since they can effectively inhibit the growth of Sukuchika insects.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
