PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a manufacturing method of a thermoplastic resin extrusion foaming heat insulation plate smaller in heat conductivity than a conventional foaming heat insulation plate and more excellent in long-term insulation property.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a thermoplastic resin extrusion foaming heat insulation plate is a method for manufacturing an extrusion foaming heat insulation plate having thickness in a specific range and apparent density in a specific range by performing extrusion foaming of a foamable resin molten article obtained by mixing a thermoplastic resin and a physical foaming agent. The thermoplastic resin consists of a polystyrene resin and a specific polyethylene terephthalate copolymer (I). The weight percentage of the polystyrene resin and the polymer (I) is 95:5 to 50:50, and a melt viscosity (η1) under a specific condition of the copolymer (I) is 1000 to 3000 Pa s.SELECTED DRAWING: None
